Workplace Trust: Bridging the Gap between Remote and In Office

Duration: 60 minutes

<<UNLIMITED PARTICIPANTS -- INVITE YOUR ENTIRE TEAM!>>

According to the latest Edelman Trust Barometer, one in three employees say they don’t trust their employer, and that distrust is most prevalent at lower levels in the organization. Other studies have shown that only 50% of employees say they do trust the company they work for. Bottom line: There’s a lot of distrust of leadership in companies and it erodes employee morale and commitment, saps employee performance and drains an organization’s productivity.

Remote work has the potential to aggravate the problem because the cornerstone of trusting relationships is communication, and it can be more difficult to communicate frequently and effectively with employees who aren’t present in the office.

The good news: If we understand the fundamentals of trusting relationships, we can build strong, trusting bonds with employees whether they’re in the office or not.

WHY ATTEND

The leaders in your company either have high levels of "trust capital" to motivate and engage employees – or they don’t. The key is to give your leaders the knowledge they need to build a culture where trust is expected at every level of the organization. This program with Michael Kerr, internationally recognized expert on workplace culture, will give you a framework to address this critical topic.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

In this webinar you will learn:

  • Why trust matters: The benefits of creating a high-trust culture and the hidden and not-so-hidden costs associated with low trust
  • How to train and develop managers to build “trust capital”
  • Communication strategies to enhance trust by keeping remote and hybrid workers engaged and connected
  • Specific techniques for building trust at work
  • How to rebuild trust when trust gets broken
  • How to get every one of your employees to embrace your culture of trust and exude trustworthiness to your customers and vendors.
  • By the end of the session, you’ll trust Mike when he tells you that trust matters - a lot!
