OSHA has finally issued its new regulations for recordkeeping. This presentation will cover what you really need to know about the latest developments with OSHA’s E-Recordkeeping rule, which was finalized in January 2019, and mandatory reporting requirements, including OSHA 300/301 logs. We’ll review how to maintain records in a way that minimizes your company’s legal liability. You’ll also learn about OSHA’s “immediate reporting” requirement, and the potential for sanctions arising from retaliation against injured workers.
This program is a must for anyone who touches the OSHA recordkeeping process—including HR professionals, safety managers, and supervisors responsible for recording and reporting employee injuries. The update on the new rule will also address OSHA’s revised policy from October 2018 on safety incentive programs, discipline, and post-injury drug testing.
Adele Abrams, Esq. – a nationally recognized expert on workplace safety law – will cover OSHA E-filing requirements, what must be included on logs in terms of recordable injuries/illnesses, which must be immediately reported to OSHA, and how Section 11(c) protections against whistleblower retaliation have been codified and can now result in penalties of up to $132,598.
