PowerPoints: Make Your Presentations Polished and Professional

Duration: 60 minutes

<<UNLIMITED PARTICIPANTS -- INVITE YOUR ENTIRE TEAM!>>

It's no secret that many PowerPoint presentations look amateurish. But the problem isn't just that cramming too many bullets on a slide or misusing animation. The difference between PowerPoint amateurs and PowerPoint pros is that the pros know exactly what they’re trying to communicate and master a limited number of tools to send their message clearly and efficiently.

WHY ATTEND

When delivering a presentation, you and your message should be the star of the show … not your PowerPoint slides. Your visuals must support your message, not distract from it with overdone flying text, silly animations, and frivolous graphics. The key to great PowerPoints is to take a “less is more” approach.

Join us for this 60-minute session to learn how to avoid the mistakes that derail your message and undermine your credibility. This energetic and interactive webinar reveals how easy it is to fall into the trap of creating annoying and useless slides, and more importantly, how rewarding it can be to break out of that mode and create truly engaging presentations.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This session will show you how to:

  • Avoid the “cram-it-all-in” obsession
  • Use animation and motion without annoying the audience
  • Prevent PowerPoint from making you look stupid (it happens … a lot)
  • Effectively present bullet point lists without sounding robotic
  • Turn presentations into “conversations” that keep listeners engaged
  • Get out from under your slides and begin truly sharing your expertise
  • Design slides that actually support and reinforce your key points
  • Connect with your audience so your message is understood and remembered
